GoodSlip

Terms of use

Last updated: July 2026

GoodSlip is free to use. By using it you agree to these terms — we've kept them short and human.

What GoodSlip is

GoodSlip is an honesty-based accountability tool. You log your own slip-ups, and your "fines" are voluntary charitable donations you make yourself through JustGiving. Nothing here creates a debt: GoodSlip never charges you, never holds funds, and can't force you to donate. The only person you cheat by fudging the numbers is you.

Donations

Donations are made directly to your chosen charity via JustGiving, under JustGiving's own terms. GoodSlip is not affiliated with JustGiving or with any charity, and we take no cut of any donation. Donations are generally not refundable — check with JustGiving if something goes wrong.

Your account

You need a valid email address to use GoodSlip, and you must be at least 16. Keep your sign-in link private — anyone with access to your inbox can access your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no automated access, no attempting to disrupt it, and no using invite links to harass people. We can suspend accounts that break this.

No guarantees

GoodSlip is provided as-is. It's a motivational tool, not medical or addiction treatment — if you're struggling with a serious dependency, please speak to a professional. We may change or discontinue features, and we're not liable for indirect losses from using the service.
