Privacy policy

GoodSlip is a self-accountability tool. We collect as little about you as we can get away with, and we don't sell or share your data with advertisers. Ever.

What we collect

Your email address (used to sign you in and send you fine reminders and donation confirmations), the slips you log (habit type and time), the charity you choose, and records of the weeks you've settled. That's it. We don't collect names, payment details, or analytics profiles.

Payments

Donations happen entirely on JustGiving. We never see or store your card details — we only record that a week's fine was settled and which charity it went to. JustGiving's own privacy policy applies to the donation itself.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) and emails are sent via Resend. Both act as processors on our behalf.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email us and we'll sort it — usually within a few days, always within a month.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in stores a session token in your browser so you stay logged in — that's strictly necessary for the app to work.
